In this crazy concept, diners, chefs and waiters are hoisted 50 metres into the air by a crane. From this floating dinner table, world-class food is served. And if the view isn't spectacular enough, the organisers offer entertainment in the form of live music and dancing, all high up in the sky.
2) SafeHouse (Milwaukee)
You need to know the password to enter this restaurant! SafeHouse is a restaurant with a spy and secret mission theme. Before you can start the experience, you need to find the entrance to the restaurant. It is hidden in an alley, disguised as a simple door. After you have entered the correct password, you are served entertainment, spy equipment, clues and last but not least; dinner.
3) Taste film (London)
This concept gives you the opportunity to experience your favorite movies in a whole new way. Taste Film serves a pre-determined menu based on the food and characters from various cult classics such as Pulp Fiction, Mean Girls and Shrek, while the film is playing on the big screen.
4) SUPPER Restaurant (Amsterdam)
In this entertainment-packed concept, you will be served a 4, 5 or 6-course dinner, accompanied by singers, dancers, acrobats and performance artists. No evening is the same at SUPPER, and after dinner you are encouraged to join the party and dance between the tables.
5) San Lucas Tree Top Dining (Costa Rica)
Here you can enjoy a 9-course dinner high up among the treetops in beautiful surroundings. San Lucas has a few, exclusive tables that are each located on a glass-enclosed platform, so you are surrounded by nature on all sides. The restaurant's guides take you on a journey through local ingredients, traditions and food customs.

Ultraviolet is a mysterious restaurant concept that attempts to incorporate all of the guests' senses into the dining experience. With only one table, a secret location, and promises of innovation, this concept succeeds in piqued curiosity. Playing with light, sound, air, smell, music, and projections throughout the room will help create an experience you won't soon forget.
8) Dans le Noir? (Worldwide)
While other restaurants want to appeal to as many senses as possible, Dans le Noir? offers a unique dining experience by depriving you of one of your senses: sight. Here, you dine in total darkness, allowing the flavors to play the main role and allowing guests to experience what it feels like to eat blind. The restaurant's waiters are themselves blind or partially sighted, and guide you through the experience.
9) Perpetual (Paris)
In this theatrical concept, all guests wear orange prison suits and are placed in a prison cell. Here you are immersed in a tale of smugglers in 1960s Paris, drinking cocktails and eating tapas while the waiters act out the story before your eyes.
10) Heart Attack Grill (Las Vegas)
Heart Attack Grill is one of the more controversial restaurants on this list! It serves high-calorie junk food by waiters dressed in nurse costumes, and encourages morbid overeating with dishes like the Double Bypass Burger on the menu. All guests are given a patient gown and bracelet before ordering, and those weighing more than 160 kg do not have to pay. Eat at your own risk!
11) Ephemera (Paris)
This restaurant chain offers immersive experiences with different content, including one with an underwater theme. Here you eat food inspired by the sea, and vivid images of fish, sharks and jellyfish are projected in all directions. You are welcomed by waiters in sailor suits, and enjoy your dinner to the sound of the waves and the cries of seagulls.
12) Arctic Snowhotel (Finnish Lapland)
In the middle of Finnish Lapland, you can enjoy a 3-course dinner from March to December, completely surrounded by ice and snow. The restaurant’s majestic architecture, decorations, tables and benches are carved from large blocks of ice every year – even dessert is served on plates made of ice.
