Spring news from Lantmännen Unibake
New year, new opportunities to adjust the assortment in line with the guests' wishes and needs. Two of Lantmännen Unibake's previous bestsellers are back in a new guise, either with a new shape or without additives and plastic packaging. At the same time, two new products are being launched where oats and rye play the main role, namely extra coarse oat round pieces baked in Lier and real Danish rye bread from the sister company in Denmark. Extra coarse oat round with crispy crust
Oats are on many people's lips at the moment. It is good, healthy and a versatile grain, and trend reports show that people are eating oatmeal like never before. The oat piece is baked in a stone oven at the bakery in Lier, contains a full 22% oat groats, has four cakes on the bread scale and keyholes. It is extra coarse and has a thin, crispy crust. The oat piece is lightly fried and is fried at 230 degrees for 3–5 minutes from thawed state.

READY-ROASTED: The best-selling focacchette in a new variant
Lantmännen Unibake has developed a variation of the bestseller focachette, which has been – and is – a big favorite among many bread lovers. The product developers have used the same basic recipe, but removed the sun-dried tomato and olives. The novelty has the ultimate sandwich shape, like a ciabatta. The product is baked in Norway with a hand-made cut on the top that gives it a home-baked feel. In addition, it is pre-baked and only needs to be thawed. If you want an extra crispy crust, heat it for a few minutes in the oven.

Delicious to eat Danish rye bread in Norway!
Lantmännen Unibake has tested several breads from its sister company in Denmark and found a fantastic rye bread that they are absolutely sure you and your guests will love. It is baked with whole grain rye flour, rye kernels and popped durum kernels and consists of a whopping 16% fiber in addition to lots of iron, magnesium and vitamin E. The bread is pre-baked and sliced, but can easily be heated for about 30 minutes at 100 °C if desired. In that case, put the bread with the bag it is wrapped in, into the oven.

READY-ROASTED: I'm back! Say cheese!
Bread and cheese are an irresistible combination, and products with cheese are popular among Norwegians. Gratinated cheese adds an extra dimension of flavor. After the cheese ball was relaunched in May 2024, the favorite cheese slice is now returning after being absent from the market for a year. Lantmännen Unibake knows that it has been a missed item for several of their customers. The cheese slice is pre-baked and divided, making handling very easy.

Dessert completely free of artificial additives
Lantmännen Unibake is constantly working to improve its products, and high on the priority list is the development of products without artificial additives. They are therefore very proud to be able to offer a new crème brûlée without additives. The product now contains only natural ingredients, with a full 72 percent cream for extra good taste! In addition, the plastic around the product has been removed and replaced with a delicate glass bowl in which the dessert is served.
