New cooperation agreement between Fatland and Systemkjøp

Systemkjøp has entered into a new cooperation agreement with Fatland. Fatland has a turnover of almost 6 billion kroner and the company's position with both customers and farmers has also been significantly strengthened. Fatland is by far the largest privately owned meat company in Norway.

Fatland supplies meat that is produced by Norwegian farmers, and that is slaughtered at our own slaughterhouses under strict quality control. From planning and consulting with the producer, through slaughtering and cutting, to the production of good meat products! They also supply raw materials to Norway's most demanding industrial customers.

Fatland currently has 550 employees working in meat production in Ølen, Oslo, Sandefjord, and Jæren. In the 1990s, emphasis was placed on the treatment of by-products and the economics associated with these products. Companies such as Fatland Hud og Skinn, Fatland Ull and Fatland Meat AS were established to strengthen the economy and expertise in the group, also to the benefit of suppliers.

In recent years, Fatland has focused on increasing processing and sales to consumers through collaboration with grocery chains. The company has always prioritized food safety, and their facilities are certified to the strict BRC standard to ensure safe products.

At fatland.no you will always find the latest news about what is happening in Fatland and at their producers. Also follow Fatland on Facebook and Instagram for daily and weekly updates.
